Background to the Project

This project was instigated following over twenty young people and adults attending a Cowes Town Council Town Improvements Sub-Committee meeting to request the provision of a Basketball Court facility in Cowes that could be freely accessed by all.

Current provision is only on school premises that could only be accessed either during school hours or at significant cost outside of these hours.
